What does the Divine Council have to do with the church today? In the premiere episode of Heiser’s Grey Havens Report, The Steward sits down with theologian and author Dr. Joel Muddamalle and pastor and author Doug Van Dorn to explore one of the central themes of Dr. Michael S. Heiser’s work: the biblical Divine Council Worldview. Together, they examine what Scripture says about God’s heavenly council, the “gods” of Psalm 82, and why understanding the supernatural worldview of the Bible matters for Christians today. Along the way, we’ll hear from Mike himself and continue the conversation he spent decades helping readers of the Bible discover. Heiser’s Grey Havens Report brings scholars, researchers and thoughtful voices together to explore the biblical supernatural worldview — from the Divine Council and the ancient world to spiritual beings, sacred geography and some of the stranger subjects at the edges of these conversations. Fair winds, and God bless.
